From our Pasture to Your Plate

Our own homegrown, all natural, pasture-raised Angus beef is available year round, as part of our CSA program, in variety packs, and a la carte in our farm markets. Details and pricing are listed below.

And… just a quick PSA about our grassfed beef. It’s super lean, which makes it cook quicker than store bought beef. Cook our beef SLOW! If you don’t, the meat will overcook, lose flavor, and will be tough.

2023 CSA Beef Shares:

Beef Program CSA members will receive a share of beef once a month (June-Sept) containing various cuts of meat. Throughout the season members will receive a combination of steaks, roasts, and other assorted cuts as well as ground beef, hot dogs, hamburger patties, and/or sausage. Beef Share options include:

  • Small Beef Share: (approx. 5 lb/month) Price: $300
  • Medium Beef Share: (approx. 10 lb/month) Price: $545
  • Large Beef Share: (approx. 20 lb/month) Price: $995

Homegrown Beef Variety Packs:

Our Beef Variety Packs come with an assortment of our delicious homegrown, grassfed, all natural pasture raised Angus beef. Variety Packs must be pre-ordered. Pack options include:

  • 15 lb. Variety Pack: A mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef and/or other assorted cuts. Price: $160
  • 15 lb. PREMIUM Variety Pack: A mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, sausage, burgers, hotdogs, and/or other assorted cuts. Price: $175
  • 25 lb. Variety Pack: A mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, burgers and/or other assorted cuts. Price: $255
  • 25 lb. PREMIUM Variety Pack: A mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, sausage, burgers, hotdogs, and/or other assorted cuts. Price: $275

Currently Available a La Carte:

A la carte beef is available in our farm market whenever it’s open (mid-May through October). If you’re interested in purchasing specific cuts during the offseason, please email cindy@vonthunfarms.com to place an order. We’ll confirm availability and set up a convenient pick-up time so you can get your beef fix!
